How much does each session cost?
Prices vary depending on the type of session. Information on our current pricing can be found on the pricing page.
How do I pay?
Your session will need to be paid for 24hr in advance via card payment or Paypal. You will be given payment details ahead of your first session. If no payment is received, your appointment may not go ahead.
How long does each session last for?
Our one-to-one sessions last for one hour.
How long does a course of treatment usually take?
You are in complete control of this and you are welcome to continue therapy whilst you remain to find it helpful. We do recommend committing to weekly sessions as the majority find most value in attending at least 10 sessions. Our work together will be reviewed at regular intervals.
Where will my appointments take place?
In my comfortable spacious counselling suite within my home in Newton Abbot. See location page for more details.
How will I know my therapist is qualified?
I have completed an advanced diploma in integrative counselling and undertake regular continued professional development. My work is also supervised by a qualified counselling supervisor.
What if I need to cancel?
I ask for 24hr notice if you need to cancel your session. Unfortunately, if less notice is given, you will still be charged for your session.
Do I need to bring anything or prepare beforehand?
Nope. Just bring yourself and whatever you need to be comfortable. However, if you wish to bring a list of things to discuss, then that's fine too!
Will everything I say be confidential?
Your session is a safe space for you to explore and discuss your issues and will be held in confidence. However, confidence may be broken if i believe you or anyone else is at risk of serious harm, if I am required to by a court of law and also supervision purposes. This will be discussed fully during your first session.
